What is a modern church like? We certainly hope that our church is a Spirit-led church. Our motto is "building our part of the kingdom of God, one person at a time, for His purpose and His glory." We are striving "to become in ever-increasing measure a more Spirit-led, multi-ethnic, multi-generational church!"
We are trying to do our part by meeting together as a group of people from many backgrounds, experiences and cultures on a Sunday morning and throughout the school year on Wednesday evenings.
Our Student Ministry is currently meeting every other Friday as our new "Coordinator of Student and Multi-Media Ministries," Mike Fuller, his wonderful wife Joanna and their beautiful baby girl Eliana make their transition to Burlington over the next few months.
Our Women's Connection ladies ministry currently also meets throughout the school year on the second Friday of each month.
Sunday mornings at 10:30 am are when we all meet together to pray together, worship, praise together, sing (for those who want too) - together and listen to a message from the Word of God presented by Rev. G.A. Clark our Pastor.
Our desire is that the Lord speak to us and direct us by His Holy Spirit through these times and then that we live out His plans and purposes for our lives the rest of the week for His purpose and His glory! These times of meeting together provide great encouragement and strength from the Lord and from each other for the journey of faith in the lives of the people of L.W.C.
We make no claim on being perfect but we do however believe that the Holy Spirit is perfect and that He is at work in our lives perfecting us in our obedience to His Word and directio. We believe He desires to do the same thing for whoever is willing to follow His plan and purposes for their lives upon receive God's grace and forgiveness through Jesus!
We welcome anyone to join us to perhaps begin their spiritual relationship with God and or to grow deeper in that relationship, along with us as we journey together to "build our part of the kingdom of God, one person at a time, for His purpose and His glory!"
We welcome you to join us any Sunday morning or starting on February 27th on Wednesday night as well!
