Our Faith

We believe in the Triune God eternally co-existent as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe that because of Adam's sin and our sin man was separated from God's holy presence.

We believe that Jesus Christ was and is the only Son of God and that through His sinless life, His death, burial and resurrection the penalty for man's sin was paid for.

If anyone sincerely repents of being a sinner they are then justified through the redemptive grace found in Christ's substitutionary work on our behalf.

If we continue to serve Christ through ongoing allegiance to Him then when death on earth occurs the believer then transitions into the presence of God there to live in heaven the place fashioned by the hand of Jesus for eternity.

God is perfectly just as well as perfectly merciful and therefore His holiness requires that the individual rejection of Christ's work will separate us eternally from God in Hell not by God's choice but by our own wilful disobedience which is sin.

With regard to The Holy Spirit we believe Scripture indicates clearly that the Holy Spirit is God. He exists uncreated eternally. He is evidenced in the Old Testament even in the first chapter of Genesis verse two.

His personal earthly ministry was promised by Jesus before Christ's ascension and begun in Acts chapter two.

The Holy Spirit is not an essence but is God of very God, who can empower us to be witnesses through His eternal life-changing power.

Distinctively, we emphasize the experience and daily reality of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and the ongoing ministry of the Holy Spirit through the exercising of spiritual gifts and characteristics in the life of the Spirit-filled Christian.
