All Christians should be mission minded. As a Christian and as a church is to pivotal to understand we are called too "build our part of the kingdom of God, one person at a time. We are striving to do so at L.W.C. "for His glory and His purpose." To be mission minded is to understand that the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ occurs locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. Through our obedience to this missions mandate lives can be changed everywhere! An "act of righteousness" is a endeavor not based on the benefit to L.W.C. but to the glory of God and building of His kingdom. It is purposeful and deliberate, done with prayerful consideration.
Because this is the heartbeat of the church, a missions or missional church grows itself because it desires to build the kingdom wherever and whenever it can.
As a church L.W.C. is currently involved in several local, national and international missions "acts of righteousness," including our local food bank as well as giving financially to support several missions projects and missionary families around the world.
We believe in the Scriptural concept of "acts of righteousness." Such acts of carried out with prayerful purpose to best carry out the Biblical command of the Great Commission of Matthew 28:18-20. They are not random acts, they are deliberate and strategic acts in prayerful obedience to God for His glory and His purpose.Recent Articles
